Excel Meets Its Limits
When a high-profile litigation case brought in over 5 million rows of historical healthcare claims, Coker Group needed a trusted partner who could handle large volumes of sensitive data and understand the Physician Revenue Cycle.
As an Excel-based organization, Coker Group repeatedly encountered performance issues with handling large volumes of data. Files crashed and stalled while opening items. The analysis was extremely cumbersome and time-consuming.

THE SOLUTION
Set up a brand new data infrastructure
Coker Group had just provisioned a new PostgreSQL database in Microsoft Azure. At the time, the system had zero records and no data architecture in place.
Ingesting over 5 million healthcare claims into a production-ready database and ensuring the numbers aligned were critical to the project. There was no room for error as the involving litigation tied to the Physician Revenue Cycle.
In less than 2 weeks, Velocity Sense designed a database structure purposed for scalable claims data ingestion. We loaded and validated over 5 million of sensitive records to provide 1-on-1 direct support for litigation alongside Matt Jensen, the VP of Revenue Analytics.
